Database information system designed for brokerage firm. Written in
Dbase II and customized for Stocks, Bonds and other client information.
1986 - Big Bucks Trivia for Dynasoft.
Original development of special add on hardware and software for old
Pac Man board. Assembly Language program for the Z80 Microprocessor was
64K in size. Data area 1 Megabyte of ROM which held 2.5 Meg of data
compressed with our proprietary compression scheme. You can now play Big
Bucks Trivia on your PC with the Rom Image for the MAME emulator.
1986 - Big Top Crane Amusement Machine for Dynasoft
Original development of both hardware and software for Big Top crane
machine. Designed around the 8748 microcontroller. Assembly language
program was 2K in size.
1987 - Nevada Flipcard Poker for Games of Nevada.
Original Development for Games of Nevada. Designed and programmed poker game which utilized mechanical stepper card decks for display. Assembly language program for 6502 Microprocessor was 16K in size.
1987 - Montana Printer interface for Games of Nevada.
Original Development for Games of Nevada. Printer interface for poker
machine used in non- hopper jurisdictions, Custom Hardware developed by
myself. Assembly Language program for the 6502 Microprocessor was 16K in
size.
1988 - Hi/Lo Poker for Games of Nevada.
Original Development for Games of Nevada. This work can still be seen
in some Las Vegas casinos. Assembly Language program for the 6502
Microprocessor was 16K in size.
1989 - Coro Bici Slot Machine for J & T Slots, Inc.
Original Development for J & T, Inc. Slot machine for Costa Rican
market. Assembly Language program for the Z80 microprocessor was 32K in
size.
1989 - Montana Printer interface for J & T, Inc.
Original Development for J & T, Inc. Printer interface for poker
machine used in non-hopper jurisdictions, Custom Hardware developed by
myself. Assembly Language program for the 8039 Microcontroller was 16K in
size.

Original Development for J & T, Inc. Lamp Driven slot machine for
amusement market. Assembly Language program for 8051

1990,1991 - Olivetti M54 Tape Duplication System.
Contracted by the Italian Government and Ministry of Posts. Hardware
and Software design of a tape duplication system for Olivetti M54 data
cartridges. This is installed in all the regional post offices throughout
Italy.
1992 - Autocard Vending Machine.
Original Development of business card vending machine utilizing custom
hardware and software. C program complied for NEC V25 Microprocessor is
1.2 Megabytes in size. Program includes digital audio, custom printing
control and cutting system.
1993,1994 - MGM Grand Hotel, Inc. Slot Player Tracking and Slot
accounting system.
Designed hardware and software for total slot machine integration on a
Casino level. Project includes player tracking, machine real-time
monitoring, progressive control etc. C Program compiled for the Z180
Microprocessor is 60,000 lines. C program on STRATUS VOS system for the
68000 Microprocessor.
1995,1996 - Invented "
Coin Hopper Measurement and Control System" .
Invented hardware and software to creat a smart hopper system for slot
machines which can instantly inform other systems of the current and
accurate amount of coins held within the hopper. You can see the original
prototype photo's here.
1997 - Industrial Ventilation's
Agricultural Storage System.
Modified C programming for a Zworld microcontroller so that units could
be networked via a rs-485 link, as well as accessed from long distances via
modem. Modified front end windows terminal program written in Delphi to
access and gather data from remote units in the field.
1998 - Shoot-N-Show's instant preview system for photography.
Design hardware and software based on a Motorola 68hc705j1a microcontroller to synchronize film camera's to digital cameras providing the photographer with instant preview capabilities for his customers!
1998 - U.S. EPA Designed hardware and software to control a vacuum distiller for automated sample processing down to cryogenic temperatures.
2000 - 2004 - Employed at Sigma Games integrating VxWorks realtime OS onto a custom platform for the purpose of communicating various gaming industry protocols. The platform is based on an AMD Elan (80486) processor and varius i/o. I was responsible for designing a BSP for the hardware so that VXworks could run on the target and implementing the various protocol stacks and communications software. This is currently in use in the field and is a product for Sigma Game called the "SIB3". Gaming Protocols involved SAS 5.0, SDS, and some custom protocols as well as multiple real time protocol support.
2004 - 2006 - Employed at RFranco USA responsible for management and implementation of new gaming platform development tools, version control, software management and release methods that complied with current gaming requirements.
2006 - 2012 - Air Internet, Inc. Principal network and systems architect for high speed wireless internet provider. Responsible for design and implementation of network infrastructure, servers, operating systems and services, network security. In depth work with OpenVZ virtualization as an aspect of service redundancy.
